Networking Coach
Christine Hauer is an experience maker with a background in connection building and storytelling.
She started an nyc-based company called Hifive which helped professionals feel more comfortable connecting with new people. Through personal coaching techniques that ease anxiety and build confidence, Christine gained experience in bridging the gap between strangers and helping a multitude of age groups make more trusted confidants. Inventing the concept of 'event wingwoman' through one-on-one onsite connection coaching, Christine was featured in Fast Company and Bloomberg Businessweek which led to teaching summer networking sessions through EXPLO, a learning through exploration camp for high schoolers and beyond.
Since then, Christine has shifted into event and experience creation through creative comms agency Praytell, building those event worlds for fortune 500 clients and NGOs to facilitate and inspire real connections - the same kind of connections Christine supported on-the-ground through Hifive. Excavating her inner imagination through acting, improv, poetry and more, Christine parallels world building within the corporate world with inner imagination building within the artistic world, to bring a prism of tools to any teaching opportunity.
Christine values integrity, honesty and above all else a sense of play(!). She enjoys inspiring people of all ages to go into any social setting with an open heart, an open ear, and an open mind. Connection lives in the courage to be open to someone outside of ourselves.
EVENTS ARE STORIES. WE REMEMBER THE GOOD ONES.
With 10,000+ hours of event execution, vibe setting, and experience creation for brands and individuals, my purpose in life is building living, breathing worlds that ignite imagination and freedom. In short, I like curating experiences that spark change.
Gaining on-the-ground education through my first company HIFIVE, a social skills curation and networking wingwoman agency, I studied human behavior and communication tactics to help teach individuals how to maximize their live-event experiences to further their dreams and goals. From there, I became one of the first members of Praytell Agency, named PR Week’s Agency of the Year 2020. I started in account mgmt and strategy, honing an eye for execution and team building before jumping internally to run all culture and office operations as Praytell's Culture Champion. After two years - and Praytell taking home a handful of PR Week’s Best Place to Work awards - I took my love of people, planning, and creating epiphany-sparked moments over to Events Lead at Praytell. Shifting into a freelancer role after four years of corporate event work, I starting creating experiences in the artistic realm, writing a one-woman show, starting a rock n roll band called CAKE TOWER and releasing an album, publishing a poem book, and developing a love for film/theater production with my own production house Luck & Luster. Now I’ve found a happy medium, weaving in my business background with my creative impulses into a 360 degree experience model rooted in love, unity, and freedom.
Personalization and world building are two qualities I bring to every event I touch, ensuring the vision and core goals of the activation are met through detailed pre-event planning, whole-hearted execution with a focus on low risk high return, and detailed post-production tactics wrapping the brand experience up across platforms. With contacts and experience across the country from NYC to LA to Miami, I feel comfortable working with varying size budgets and structures.
Some of my past clients include Twitter, UNAIDS, Logitech, CAN AM, Shock Top, Anheuser-Busch, Zappos, and M.A.C. Aids Fund.
Some of my past event activations include CES 2014-2017, TEDX, VIDCON, COMIC CON, and PAX South, PAX East, PAX North.
WEDDDDDDINGS!
I love weddings. No I mean, I really do. Not only do I seek them out, but I’ve slowly started planning a few of them for friends. And, I’ve had so much fun doing them for friends, I’m kind of down to do it for other folks as well. BECAUSE I LOVE WEDDINGS. Either onsite day-of coordination or support leading up, there’s so many things to do for a love fest, here’s a general list of some of the things I can support and lead:
- VENDORS - Coordination of all vendors / deliveries leading up to and day of event to insure we have all materials ready to go.
- DECOR - Any onsite decor support / venue management to make sure the space is setup and ready throughout the special day and days leading up.
- GIFTS - Any gestures / placements / gifts in the space for your bridal parties and guests staying onsite throughout the wedding soiree.
- BREAKDOWN - After the wedding, packing up and insuring we have all the proper wedding memories (napkins, cake knife, etc.) stowed away and prepped for shipping back to your spot.
- AV - Work with video / photographer to insure they follow your suggested shot list and have all the items they require.
- Run Of Show - Leading execution of your final run of show and working with the venue staff to insure we are on time and hit all the key moments of the weekend.
OK, if you need wedding support, hit me up! DING DONG DING DONG.

“Truly, have you ever seen a more stylish day of coordinator / wedding planner?! Christine radiated joy the whole weekend long and met me with a smile whether she was hanging disco balls, schlepping buckets of beer or on an emergency DayQuil run. So much love!”
