TITLE: NAME

THEME: Identity, HIDDEN STRUGGLE/INNER COMPLEXITIES

PLOT: “I believe that if it were left to artists to choose their own labels, most would choose none.” – Ben Shahn

Names are labels. We live with them our whole lives, words pinned to our souls, given from another and branded forever onto our taste buds. We answer to them and create under them, we clarify them and re-define them, we live under them and die inside of them.

In a world where your name is your identification, what happens when you don’t want one? What happens when you’re forced to tell the world what to call you? What happens when your existence shrinks to a jumble of letters? In this story, a GIRL asks these questions of herself as she searches for the one thing she doesn’t want to find: the answer.

CLIMAX: How will you be remembered if there isn’t a name to remember?
